• A B.Sc. in Physics from the Department of Physics, University of Ioannina, Ioannina, Greece
• An M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science, University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg,Sweden.
• A PhD in Theoretical Computer Science from the Democritus University of Thrace.

I am a founding member of the The Greek T_EX Friends Group, and currently I serve as the president of the group. I am the author and co-author of various L^AT_EX packages (the greek option of the babel package, etc) that facilitate Greek language typeseting with L^AT_EX. Also, I am the author of the first book on L^AT_EX in Greek and the co-author of the Greek T_EX FAQ. Also, I am the team leader of the Greek Molecular Computing Group. My hobbies include computers in general, coin and stamp collections, astronomy and philosophy. I speak Greek (!), English, a little Swedish and once upon a time I was able to communicate in Russian. I am the father of a lovely son (10 years old); his name is Demetrios-Georgios! (A very long Greek name:-)
